So this is part of my review of “In a Lonely Place” (1950)

“I see this as a classic 1950’s women’s movie, listen to your girl-friend’s gossip and you’ll lose your man. Sure I’m discounting Steele’s aggression especially the over-the-top fight after the car crash. But really, that was over done.”

Most other reviewers suggest Bogart’s Steele is the villain…

I’m me, a film viewer who would love (maybe, that’s too strong a word) to interact with other viewers of film/movies.

But, enough of the foreplay.

I like watching movies. But I understand I’m not skilled at analysing them in the same way you can.
So, what I’m trying to say is, how about letting your audience provide some input into what you are discussing?
