Using a “small, bright light source, precisely placed lenses, a curved mirror, a razor blade that blocks part of the light beam and other tools” a professor of engineering at the Pennsylvania State Uni caught a cough. A little schadenfreude at Facebook’s expense: Owen Thomas explains why he thinks that even if the social networking giant isn’t firing, it certainly won’t be hiring any new employees. Part of the problem is that “none of Facebook’s new ad formats have proven to be a breakout hit”.– Valleywag
