Berets are back! Art wankers rejoice: the beret is making a comeback. For some reason, the economic downturn has heralded a renaissance for the floppy hat, with sales doubling since the start of the credit crunch. Tres bien!

Wow, berets must really be back. I’m told by a number of online kid clothes retailers (who email me on their customer list) that they are in for kids too. Maybe one beret can save a lot of money on haircuts over winter?
