Roll out the red carpet, and hold off nipping down to the milk bar to buy a copy of TV Week — Crikey presents our comprehensive Logies coverage.
Inspired by Channel Nine’s Tracey Grimshaw, who this year played the part of Grimace from McDonaldland, we’ve google imaged terms like “upholstered pedastal”, “eight-year-old in leotard”, “kitten” and “sea cucumber” to bring you our cutting edge fashion commentary.
More comprehensive than The Age photo gallery, and infinitely more edifying than the Herald-Sun worst dressed slide show, we give you — the Logies lookalikes*….

Ouch!
Classic. Well done. Pity you couldn’t get one for Gretel Kaleen, though. Her new hairdo seems ripe for parody but I’ll be damned if I can think of or find an appropriate picture..
Yes, it was ghastly, tawdry and infantile. But do the majority of Australians really give a toss about broadcasting, governance, service or any industry standards anymore? We’re burnt out trying to deal with the collapse of the whole lot that when that singing, dancing canary in white feathers on a flowered swing descended onto the Logie stage it was utter respite from the hills of everyday dross we so used to. Its the thankful for small mercies syndrome in suburban Australia.
I didn’t realise how difficult it is to eat ramen AND laugh hysterically at the same time! Noodles out your nose hysterical!
