Howard pulled him from the back benches after he did the crunch number on Pauline Hanson. He is the Liberal's stooge and sent forth into the fray because people take pity on him because his lack of real talent is so obvious. As a minister in the Howard Government, his perfomance was the same as any foot soldier he did as he was told. He has no latteral thought process other then to flap his big ears and hone in on weakness so as to give him strength of purpose to survive.
