A drawing a day: In the waiting room
The drawing: There will be blood, and iPads
The door opened at 8:30. There were three of us, then five. Another three by quarter to 9. Among the five, I counted a newspaper, a journal, a fat historical novel (man with 2-hr tests) and two iPads. I asked ourĀ Indian lady technician, How many of us do you see everyday? Oh, 30 or 40, doing mostly this, she said, extracting three vials of the deepest twilight wine-dark red from the crook of my arm. I doodled the drawings on my iPhone (of course).
