If it is true that most people get 15 minutes of news a week, most of what people like us do here, and anyone involved in politics is probably wasting their time…
Diogs,
Those claims would have more credibility if Bligh was steering the boat.
I Googled “oblivity” – 516 hits, nearly all ignorant or jocular substitutes for “a state of being oblivious”, obliviousness. Larry seems to be the first to use it for oblivion – unless he thinks we’re being taxed to stupefaction. Stupefaction or oblivity seem to be pretty good words to sum up his command of the Angle-ish langwidge.
After relistening to the debate I agree with Condren from 7 that Springborg won the debate. Bligh was boreing and her usual narky small target. Borg was passionate and showed his frustration with 11 years of useless Labor. He showed real emotion. (Bligh only got worked up when attacking Bob Brown! Whose preferences she just took the day before.)
Did you Like Springborg’s explanation of how he is going to fund his election Promises, Susan? Perhaps you can remind us as he never made it very clear at all.
Jack A Randa, you must be impressed with the quality of the public polling in this campaign. No polls from xmas till the election being called. No margin seat polling at all barring the Gold Coast Bulletin quoting polling they have sited. It makes the West Australian look like workaholics during their campaign.
