Mountain Goat (Oreamnos americanus) trapped on mountain

This photo comes from here http://flickr.com/photos/eickholt/

It is a photo of a goat that looks to the untrained eye as if it is stuck on a cliff. But no. Us goat experts all know that it is not stuck because the goat on the right is going to get a ladder and will rescue it shortly. Of course the question is, who took the ladder away in the first place. Perhaps it is the smaller of the two goats on the left, which looks as if it is in trouble.

According to wikipedia which is always true: the Mountain Goat (Oreamnos americanus), also known as the Rocky Mountain Goat, is a large-hoofed mammal found only in North America. Despite its name, it is not a true goat, as it belongs to a different genus. The mountain goat is an even-toed ungulate of the order Artiodactyla and the family Bovidae that includes antelopes and cattle. It belongs to the subfamily Caprinae, along with thirty-two other species including true goats, sheep, the chamois and the musk ox. The mountain goat is the only species in the genus Oreamnos.

It is not even a proper goat! No wonder it got stuck.

While all this was happening the human rights of a pervert were abused by a viscous dog. (Even though it was an Alsatian and not a puddle) LOL! [Clever dog saves owner from English Pervert]

Why can’t they put a photo in the news report?

Here is a random Alsatian from the internet.

Have you seen this man? Because he has seen you!

No I swear, if you type “pervert” into google images, this is the first thing you will see.

You must have Google Images’ “safe search” feature turned on. When I search for “pervert” on my un-Conroyed internet I get a very different image indeed.

The Google Images for “viscous dog” are more alarming. And none of them seems to be of a “thick” or “sticky” dog.

Sorry, First Dog. I’m not usually one to make fun of typos. (Oh, yes I am!)

May I draw your attention to A: the joke about the poodle and B: the lie I told about the internet.

I needed a picture of one for my post of course… although for a while at work I did have safe search off on google. But ewww! You run into also sorts of interesting people unexpectedly and it can be quite distracting, so I leave safe search on now.

    Somehow FD,
I don’t think you’re going to be forgiven for.
    A. Calling Possum a pervert.
    B. Publishing that picture of him.
(Presumably taken after last Wednesday’s festivities.)
