Jesus wept! I just give and give until I have nothing left, and still you vultures demand more!
So here is a picture of a coconut macaroon. Are you happy now?

I don’t suppose it’s *also* called Warren?
This post is why Al Gore invented the Intertubes.
I’ve got a story about coconut macaroons.
A few years ago, I arrived at a Thermodynamics lecture late. I wasn’t happy about being there, thermo is the hardest subject in the world.
A mate in front of me turned around and said “Ev, want a macaroon?”
Definitely.
It was a bloody good macaroon. Just as I was about to finish it, he turned around and said “What’d you reckon?” “It was bloody good.”
Turns out macaroons from that exact batch had just won Best Macaroon In Australia at the Easter show. Made by his 13 year old sister. I still remember it like it was yesterday.
I signed up to this thread on the promise of an “animal of the day.” Now, after a fortnight’s wait, we get a picture of a coconut macaroon, which is clearly not an animal. Mr Onthemoon needs to take a good hard look at himself, IMHO.
Coconut macaroons are yummy. Animals of the day are yummy. Therefore, Firstdog’s use of the coconut macaroon is entirely within scope. I’m pretty sure “yummy” is a transitive property. If not, it should be.
I suppose that bloody Fiona Mowat woman will be coveting her neighbors macaroon as well now. Make a change from her neighbor’s pets Seriously though this is an appalling cop out. I suspect the hard done by Mrs Onthemoon made this it is not even your own work. Into the room of mirrors Mr Dog
I still don’t think there’s an adequate explanation for macaroons. Evolutionary biologists need to be consulted immediately.
Fiona Mowat will not be commenting any longer, as she is sick of being bullied by Durutticolumn.
Good-bye.
Fiona Was it something I said? Stop sooking
Cheer up FD, the proletariat don’t know ‘Art’ when they see it. This shot was taken at the upper end of a permanently snow-covered valley high on the north face of K2. The animals, to be seen at the lower right hand side of the image, look up in frozen wonder at the sight of a mysterious jockey who appears to be riding the Winged Chimera of Ky-ansorum, (top right-hand side)aka the spirit of K2.
The gods are not displeased FD.
Umm, no, sorry Venise.
Its a macaroon.
Coconut, apparently,
I prefer cute pets to macaroons. Where are the photos of my cute pets I sent you the other day?
Yes and where is MY cute pet? Where? WHERE?
that’s fantastic FD. My macaroons turn out all flat and chewy. The kids bang ‘em in but they’d prefer proper ones.
When regaining consciousness after a long coma, Macaroons have the same focusing problem of making out the features of the medical staff at the end of the bed
