Hug a climate scientist day 2012 was hugtastic!
Here are the wonderful photos of people hugging people who may or may not be climate scientists! Look at the bottom of the post to see who has won the coveted First Dog on the Moon Mouse Pad!
This one was sent in by Harriet who says “Attached is a photo of me hugging Alessio, a physicist who is considering moving into climate science – potential climate scientists need extra encouragement and affection so as not to be put off by the death threats etc.” And fair enough too.
I have no idea what is happening here but apparently this is Climate scientist Mauro Rubino being hugged by hugger Colette Leary. They certainly appear to be having a nice time.
Richard Mayo who sent this us this photo says: “Pictured is our resident climate scientist Dr. Bronwyn Dolman (PhD in Atmospheric Physics) being appreciated by myself.
We are on the roof of our building here in Adelaide next to the antenna array used for our experimental wind profiling radar (inside the tangle of chicken wire!)”
WHY DO YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR EXPERIMENTAL WIND PROFILING RADAR AWAY FROM THE CHICKENS RICHARD? WHAT AREN’T YOU TELLING US?
Here is Tanya again blowing kisses away from someone who is a scientist but not an actual climate scientist but points for trying. Not sure who these people are but LOOK AT THE SHIRT!!!
