Turnbull's money is his business. It's just poor form when he boasts-I assume it was him-about getting out of the market just before it collapsed. Rudd's money, strictly speaking, isn't his. If he and Therese decide to get a divorce-Chri*st what a stink that would cause-I imagine Therese might express her displeasure by withdrawing financial support. However, when it comes to Michael Kroger's wealth I feel very hostile. And I've only seen the antiques and art that he decided to sell at auction, God alone knows what he hung onto. He must be obscenely wealthy. But what makes it unbearable is the cynical manipulation of the Victorian Liberal Party. The man has done nothing for the Victorian electorate. He lacks the guts to run for election himself, so he just sits, smiles, and pulls the puppet strings. Machiavelli, doubtless, would have loved him. We unfortunate Victorians would like to excoriate him. It's what happens when trash stops feeling it's trash. IMHO.

PS: I'm afraid to say that Amenhotep, I can't read his name from here. Got it. ITEP has got a tinsy winsy point.

"If Turnbull’s wealth, or for that matter Rudd’s, is any sort of political point then it should only be to their credit. It speaks volumes for the character of such high net-worth individuals that they are prepared to sacrifice the earning capacity of private enterprise for the more meagre returns of public service."

Oh please... yuck
