		<description>This is a very timely and well-written diagnosis of a complex problem. Not sure if you caught David Simon&#039;s testimony to the US senate, but he struck a similar note. I can&#039;t help but think that more clear-eyed assessments of this looming problem need to be voiced. What to do about it all is, of course, an entirely different question.</description>
