Suddenly Boeing has found its tongue. But will it reply to Markus 45? Is Markus 45 the infamous and mysterious Boeing mole, Captain X, the terror of Airliners.net, the must see site for all aviation enthusiasts, brand warriors, or air travellers just curious about ‘what the heck’ is going on around them?
This official Boeing photo (below) shows the sixth of the test fleet of Dreamliner 787s coming together on the final assembly line at Everett. An official Boeing statement on the 787 situation says first flight will be before the end of June, this June too.

The 787 shown is also the first to be fitted with the GEnx engines, the type ordered by Qantas, which was supposed to have around 10 of them in Jetstar service by now, each able to fly non-stop between Australia and the mainland of the US, or one stop to Europe.
This range capability is critical to the Qantas plan to retake market share off its Asia and Middle East based competitors, to lead the development of long haul low cost routes, and to modernise its fleet with a view to reducing fuel and maintenance costs.
In a comment to the previous post, Markus 45 made some interesting claims about the Dreamliner program. Boeing has been invited to respond to those claims line by line.
Meanwhile in Everett, dream approaches awakening.
