Has been awful for quite a while. I have stopped using it. 747ER which qf uses to DFW and other destinations has been wrong for a long time. You’re better off using frequent flyer forums and hear from other passenger experiences.

Whilst not great for SeatGuru,

it was always a site to more help people select which seat in a given plane,
as distinct from between planes.

They have seemingly expanded their offerings without properly checking data.

It comes from a very good contact base, not SeatGuru.

But when someone purports to offer accurate information to people to assist them spend money, it’s good to run a cross check or two, or three.

So when Apple Maps was unreliable – we all turned to google maps. Where do we go instead of seat guru?

I’ve always wondered where you get your seemingly encyclopaedic knowledge of which carriers premium economy offerings were better than other carriers.

Configiguration data is presumably airline-sourced, even if via web/GDS display Is seat-spec data airline-sourced, vendor-sourced, crowd-sourced or “WAG”?

hopefully, just maybe the differences in dimensions for the same seat and class are due to variations of design due to special needs, and depends on what the airline quoted as best case or worst case. I didnt see this range expressed in seat guru but ‘usually’ a group of seats will have an exception to width where there are handicap provisions, or in arm video, or even when a feature of the fuselage sidewall makes the seat width compensate as the aisle dimension cannot alter. Or maybe the guru is getting sloppy.
