New reader "Politically Correct" has weighed in at my last Peel by-election post with some unrelated thoughts on the New South Wales Liberal Party, mostly concerning the state election that will be held on March 24. I have relocated it to this post to give it a more suitable home, and hopefully to stimulate further election-related discussion among the Poll Bludger community. A form guide to the February 3 Peel by-election will follow either tomorrow or the day after, depending on how good a time I have this evening. I am also making good progress on my seat-by-seat New South Wales election guide, which is optimistically scheduled for launch at the end of January.

i think you should get over whatever complex drives you to believe everyone thinks themselves superior to you. ($10 bucks says I’m younger than you). However I believe I’m superior to you because I’ve realised the Greens are a crazy pack of loons, and you haven’t.

I have no problem understanding what the abc site is getting at. i think the point trying to be conveyed was made by them and the central idea was apparent to the mildly informed reader.
Perhaps we could move on from these petty diversions.

Not attacked, just mildly disagreed with. Good grammar is nearly always clearer than bad grammar.
Queenslander, I don’t believe everyone here thinks themselves superior. Only Adam, and thats because he belittles every post I make while not doing the same when someone else makes the same point.
The age bit only came up because Adam used my screen name as a reason why I don’t know much (at least that was how it seemed to me).
Maybe being talked down to all the time just because I’m in a wheelchair makes it more important that people take me seriously.
As to the Greens, you are entitled to your opinion, even if I completly disagree, though I happen to disagree with the QLD branch policies enough that I wouldn’t support them.
