It is no irrefutable that Howard made a grave mistake by agreeing to any debate at all. Even just one – five weeks out from polling day.

Janette start packing your bags, you are on notice from the voting public, your lease expires on 24/11/2007 and we wont be renewing it.

On the other hand, Crosby-Textor just got a massive massive amount of free research from the worm. Unfortunately nothing good.

Rudd has, in my opinion, has performed pretty well on most issues so far. Struggled a bit on environment, nervous at beginning but has excellent opening remarks – future, vision. Howard has been a dog’s breakfast. He performed better on environment than I thought and alot worse on security (so far). He’s a mess.

No speaker to protect him, flusters him – pity I’m not getting a chance to see whether Costello still has a smirk on his face.

Howard is on the backfoot he’s been forced to make at least 2 major policy announcements tonight. One about Climate Change fund and now about reviewing troops in Iraq.

Give Ratty a break – he’s nearly 70 after all.

Speers keeps telling Howard to STFU and stop rambling like some demented old codger.

    Not a good look.

I wonder if Rudd running short on answers is a tactic?

It’s certainly adding to a mild impression of Howard rambling.

I havn’t seen a worm all night, while watching the ABC, but while I was tense beforehand about the outcome, I would say that each issue has either been a clear win for Mr Rudd or a draw. I look forward to tomorrow’s press write-ups with great interest.
