Reflections on the Miracle of Democracy at Work in the Greatest Nation on Earth

Kentucky fried Clinton

Democratic primaries will be held Wednesday our time in Oregon and Kentucky, which will respectively choose 52 and 51 delegates. Below is another race associated with the latter state, which this year ended with runner-up Eight Belles having to be put down*. Does the knackers’ yard beckon for a certain second-placed Democratic nag? Discuss.

* Unfortunately for my metaphor, Clinton in fact holds a handy 30.5 per cent lead in Kentucky, according to Real Clear Politics. Obama however leads by 12.4 per cent in Oregon.

Nice to see the debate moving on! LOL

Sad how the ’smart’ ones are holding on to the lost cause of Hillary and waiting for a bullet to revive her terminal chances.

    Talk about desperation.

Move on kiddies, there’s nothing left to discuss here except how utterly wrong Gruffy, Eddy, Ron and the runt Finnster have been for months.

    DEAD WRONG (excuse the allusion)

One simple word, wrong, says it all, and they’ve clung like drowning rats to a coconut adrift in the sea of possibilities that Obama was winning on every front.

Denial, pigheaded, or just naughty boys who need some attention?

Best I let you choose which one.

    Or, maybe, just d!ckheads.

Yeah, that one will do for me.

    For the blogoshere record:

The CAN NOT DISCUSS OBAMABOTIC BASKET:

Change ,yes we can …where is the detail ,

why does Obama refuse to agree to sign Kyoto (not what otherwise he promises

Obama’s ‘howard’ choice only Healthcare vs Hillary’s universal & % income cap

HRC vs BO electability by widespread state polling

key swing States comparisons HRC vs BO ,

psephological by state or poll ,

the Pastor (a non issue) ,

    bittergater (a non issue) ,

why Obama’s delegate lead is solely on the back of 90%+ black votes ,

which Obama’s policys got 90%+ black vote for BO (democrat vs HRC democrat

why a majority of all whites , Hispanics & Asians vote for Hillary ,

FL & MI delegates be included , dismissed as it’s the rules despite all evid. #642

why from Texas to NC dele’s all moved to BO depite political commonsense re pastorgate , Oh & PA ,

Ignore Dr Carr & Mayor Koch’s advice of black desertion threats vs SD endors’s

have a black candidate but won’t talk black problems,

Where is the detail in Obama’s foreign policy, Israel,Ruwanda Darfur ,Burma ,Iran

Where is the economic policy ,% of oil dependence , foreign trade deficit & Debt

Why not talk about Obama’s association with the terrorist William Ayes , Rezko a fraud

Why the Obamabots argument the “best” Candidate is based solely on Obama winning by as low as ONE delegate (ie. BO 2209 delgates to HRC 2208 delegates) won as opposed to the “best’ candidate being the by far the most electable

    Any additions

    “Not so fast”

A group of supporters, gathered as WomenCount PAC, placed a full-page ad in today’s New York Times.

“Not so fast….Hillary’s voice is OUR voice, and she’s speaking for all of us,” the headline says.

They say in the ad that they “stand united in our unwavering support for Hillary Clinton.” “We know that when women vote, Democrats win. Now it is the responsibility of our party to hear our voices and count all of our votes. We want Hillary to stay in this race until every vote is cast, every vote is counted, and we know that our voices are heard.”

One day this week Obama will receive enough SD endorsements to be within 30 or 35 votes of achieving the 2025 target. The final round of voting on 3 June will elevate him above this line. The push to victory will come from the votes of the people and the cry will go up around the country: “All the people have spoken! We have our nominee and we have our leader. Change is coming to America!”

Not long now, not long. And when the moment comes, America will rejoice.

Current Intrade odds for Dems as a map.

    http://possumcomitatus.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/intradeuselection25may2008.jpg

Light blue=50-59% implied probability of a Dem victory in State
Mid Blue =60-69% implied probability of a Dem victory in State
Dark Blue =70+% implied probability of a Dem victory in State

Current Dem Electoral Votes projected based on Intrade implied probabilities= 289

Intrade and the polls are having some serious disagreements at the moment. They did the same in 2004 and the polls were wrong, Intrade was spot on.

For those that may have forgot – this has an inbuilt implied probability of an Obama nomination of 92%

If this eventuates. You Obamabots here are totally responsible for this debacle.

GOP strategists mull McCain ‘blowout’ - Though they expect he would finish far closer to Obama in the popular vote, the thinking is that McCain could win by as many 50 electoral votes. It sounds crazy at first. Amid dire reports about the toxic political environment for Republican candidates and the challenges facing John McCain, many top GOP strategists believe he can defeat Barack Obama — and by a margin exceeding President Bush’s Electoral College victory in 2004............ A top strategist with the Republican National Committee, who asked that his name be withheld to speak candidly, explained that by his own examination, “we’re actually sitting pretty well in most states................ Some Republican strategists can envision a scenario in which Obama wins the popular vote but loses in the Electoral College — he might galvanize Southern black turnout, for example, but still fail to switch a state in the region

    #1796

The Obamabot looney left here betrayed all democratic principles by saying NO FL & MI delegates be admitted , despite 2.3 million people lawfully voting.

My #642 post not only with sources declared proved Obama’s active campaigning in FL & MI but demonstrated why a Suptrem court challenge on equity & civil rights grounds would likely succeed supporting the 2.3 million people against the DNC’s non democratic and discrimatory (IA & NH) application of rules. All 50 states can pass their own laws re when a primary must be held rendering NH’s impotent so the Supreme Court would laugh at NH’s

Now you come out with a post ascribing votes on Exit Polls with all buts ifs & maybe’s , a basis so foolish that would not be accepted in any country in the world The votes must be counted as they were democratically made.

Obamabots having trashed all democratic principles , now wish to prostitute the 2.3 million votes actually legally cast by a rorting the delegate numbers won from them using the ‘black desertion intimiation at the Dems rules meeting on 31/5/08(Not sure Ghost is you are an Obamabot or an ObamaRealist)

FINNS for your forensic records as some loopy Obamabot will raise this in the future total MI votes 594, 401 all legally checked off on records , Hillary won 55.23% , Obama & Edwards combined 40.07% and 3 other candidates combined 4.70%. I’ve applied a stistical model to breakup Obama & Edwards votes. do you need any more info at this stage

Finns – campaign strategists say those type of things.Remember in May last year we had an acute bout of leaking for the Libs along the same lines? Then come September those same anonymous strategists were regaling us with tales of how the Libs could win with just 48% of the vote, and increase their majority with just 50%?

We know how that turned out. I empathise with the Clinton supporters, it’s a shit sandwich when your preferred candidate is looking down both barrels – but that sort of “some anonymous Republican secret squirrel reckons….” type stuff is just propaganda of the silliest kind.

All of the data says that those guys are whistling dixie, from the massacre in the recent district contests, through to the howls of “we’ll be rooned” from major Repub figures right through to the betting markets.
