We have not changed very much in our expectations of how it might play out, but we do think Honey Bacon’s campaign has been a bit slack, and on that basis we think Goodwin has the better chance. But it’s a very bizarre by-election so it’s hard to say what will happen.

I was not present (thanks to flu) but am gradually getting through watching the coverage. The mysterious Sharon Soo turns out to be the partner of Bill Harvey, presumably the Hobart Greens alderman of the same name who I think I noticed in a shot of the audience.
