Quadrant pwned

For those of you not reading Margaret Simons’ new Crikey blog The Content Makers – well, you’re missing out. Her latest piece is a cracker of a story about the hoaxing of Keith Windschuttle and Quadrant Magazine.

It starts at the Crikey site (free) and ends at Margaret’s blog.

Talk about 14 flavours of irony.

Make sure you read the Windschuttle reply – apart from being hilarious, one would think that the time has come to stop digging.

Re Windshuttle’s response: He certainly isn’t going to die wondering if he could bullshit his way out of it. He could also mention the percieved authenticity by the fact that the author used genuine english words and syntax. Or that GM food is a genuinely hotly debated topic.

So clearly, the article is in fact genuine and purporting it to be a hoax is in fact a scheme of the pinko left to discredit the intelluctual bohemoths who edit and publish Quadrant, as well as stifling debate on where else we ought to insert human genes. Well more fool them! Quadrant did publish it and made idiots of them all!
