Politics, elections and piffle plinking

Could get messy

From News Ltd today on the next Labor candidate for Wentworth:

FORMER high-profile AMA president Kerryn Phelps has emerged as Labor’s favoured star candidate to defeat Malcolm Turnbull in his now marginal seat of Wentworth at the next election.

A resolution passed by the ALP Wentworth Federal Electorate Council this month stating:

THAT Wentworth FEC calls upon the NSW ALP and/or the ALP National Executive to hold a rank and file preselection for the seat of Wentworth as soon as possible, and that the Wentworth FEC Executive be authorised to notify the community that this is our position.

This appears to me the classic choice between a ‘giant douche and a turd sandwich’.
