Politics, elections and piffle plinking

Victorian Newspoll – More of the Same.

Running late on yesterday’s Victorian state Newspoll which, via The Oz had the primaries running 43 (up 1) / 37 (steady) to Labor, washing out for a two party preferred of 56/44 the same way – zero movement from last poll in June. The Greens are 12 (down 2), while the broad “Others” are 8 (up 1). This ran off a sample of 1138, giving us an MoE that maxes out around the 2.9% mark.

There only thing notable about it, is it’s absence of anything remotely interesting! The usual charts come in like this:

vicprimsaug victppaug

vicminorsaug betterpremaug

vicpremsataug vicopsataug

vicnetsataug

only vague area of interest I can see is a collapse in the Nats vote, 5% at the last election, 2% now.
