Newspoll releases a quarterly aggregation of their political polling broken down into age, gender and geographical cohorts.When aggregated with the Nielsen poll results, it produces the demographic data you see in the sidebar to the right.

For recent charts from the 2007 election onwards, there are two ways to view them – firstly by demographic, where you can choose a cohort (such as a State, age group, gender etc) and view all of the polling metrics for that cohort. Alternatively, you can choose the metric (such as primary vote, satisfaction ratings etc) and view all of the cohort results on the same chart. This data is derived only from Newspsoll.
