That’s a good question confessions — I can only think they’re just going with tradition. Mind you when they have the limited overs World Cup, Scotland and Ireland field their own teams ..(not sure about Wales)…so maybe its something to do with that ?

It’s actually England and Wales Cricket Team, Scotland have their own team. When England last won the Ashes one of the players that inflicted the damage was a Simon Jones, Welsh BOYO, never played since????
Cricket being the national game of Englans and Rugby Union the game of Wales we don’t actually mind not being named everytime the English (and Welsh) cricket team is mentioned.

I sort of follow Liverpool, I think because they had the first Australian player to go over there, Craig Johnson — well, first that I know of anyway.

Well, how about ‘em Chuggle? Nobody ever won a premiership in July mate. It was a great game though – one of the best ever. Quite a last 15 minutes too.

Hey Bertus… I never mentioned a premiership (that would be a big mozz!). It was a great game, and even more amazing on the replay. I don’t know how either team kept up such intensity for four quarters. But I fear that I may die of a massive heart attack one day while I’m watching the footy.
