Here’s a Valentine’s day open thread for you, well actually it’s the regular, weekly open thread, but if you’d like to take the opportunity to pen an ode to your favourite journalist, no-one would judge you harshly.

Be our guest.

    MoC @80…..

“Fox could not operate in its current form in australia. They rely too much on lying about people and events”

I would argue that the new radio station in Melbourne (MTR) on the old 3MP band (1377), is no different to Fox.

It is 100% 24/7 full of bile towards the left of the political spectrum.

Just imagine it? You can get your BoltDevineBlair view of the world ON CALL AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY.

Even last night when I was driving home a little later than normal at around 5 psat midnight I thought that maybe they would have a 3AW style presenter talking to lonely people.

But as soon as the news finished, the midnight to dawn presenter let fly with a barrage of criticism of Chris Bowen!!!

    It is relentless!!

Mt Bolt attacks David Suzuki and claims he practices ‘bad science’.

One choice bit – because Suzuki claims mankind has become a ‘force of nature’ (ie our actions change stuff on the planet) Bolt claims ‘We even cause earthquakes and volcanic eruptions?’

And what he can’t really stomach is that a LIBERAL Government in Victoria applauds the man.

As AB says ‘How shameful. How depressing.’

    But wait! There’s more!

NBN Co will buy regional satellite television provider Austar’s stash of 2.3 GHz and 3.4 GHz spectrum licences for $120 million.

NBN Co will use the spectrum to deliver fixed wireless services to around 5% of customers out of reach of its planned fibre network, with the remainder to be served by satellite.
