I sense that somebody’s got a touch of whatever bug’s going around.

I’m 15 minutes in, and it’s pretty good. But there’s just not enough … mindless cackling. MORE MINDLESS CACKLING!!!!

Maybe when dave’s voice is better … could you just do an episode with maybe 60 seconds of nothing but cackling? I need it. It makes things better. :-)

    Re Rhiannon’s file:

I suspect my old man has an ASIO file. I’m curious, but not curious enough to devote my life to finding out (bugger FOI, if I cared enough I’d just go work for ASIO and work my way into a position where I could just look it up … but I’m happy to say I’ve never held a TS clearance and I’m just as pleased to be leaving it that way).

Once upon a time, many decades ago when he ran factories, he was called into the Big Office one day to be quizzed by a couple of chaps about one of his employees, who hailed from somewhere around yugoslavia. According to the way he tells it, he told them to go somewhere. Then they got all serious and he told them to go somewhere again, and pointed out that even if this guy WAS a spy, all he’d be able to tell the communists was how good their mattresses where (and in his view they weren’t very good), and maybe they should all try to get a grip.

I expect that nothing gets you a manila folder quicker than telling ASIO people to get stuffed. Awesome. Hats off, I say. I hope it has a nice red border :-)

I aspire to be able to tell ASIO where to go myself one day!

The irony is that he’s about the most non-leftist person you’d find. He doesn’t discuss it, but I don’t think he’s voted ALP in a looooong time. He’s just (what I consider to be) a traditional conservative – and there was a time when conservatives didn’t much like the state trying to get bosses to tell tales about their employees.

You geese. Geoffrey rush wasn’t in the hulk! But he was excellent as Alby Mangels.

Oh wow. I see a whole run of geoffrey rush movie posters …

MoC – you might be alarmed (but probably NOT surprised) to know how easily one rates a named manila folder these days. Believe it or not, although all innuendo, gossip and supposition is on-line, the Frozen Warriors still love to fondle their files, dead trees for dead minds.

If there’s no file, do you really exist?
