Quick note to NineMSN: 4,000 people in Melbourne (8,000 nationally) rallying for marriage equality on a grey, rainy day is not “hundreds”. It’s thousands.
The Herald Sun also massively underestimated the number of protesters before later updating the figure – but at least they didn’t describe 4,000 as “hundreds” in the same report.
