Copenhagen is absurdly expensive. It is so cold – a bone-shuddering four degrees Celcius right now – that walking outside feels like entering a giant meat cooler. By 3.30pm it is already pitch black.

But this place – at least for the smutty among us – has something going for it.

Prostitutes in the city are now offering free sex to anyone who produces one of the warnings handed out by the mayor’s office.”
