Sarah Palin TV sports clip: the beaver round-up

YouTube Preview Image

Look, if there’s not a spot for Ms Palin on Channel 7’s team calling the Spring Carnival action this year, I’ll go he. The way she gets through these dog results is a wonder to behold. And if she ditched that dark outfit and borrowed a fawn jacket from wardrobe, I’d be happy to see her give Richie the elbow and anchor the cricket. Come to think of it, she’d be a big improvement on one or two AFL commentators, as well. And Sterlo and Rabbits, you’ve been warned: watch your back.

Anyway, here she is, the would-be VP, in her big ’80s hairdo, presenting the sports segment on Alaskan TV (in her days as Sarah Heath): dog mushing, the beaver round-up, college basketball, the lot. She’s got my vote.

Don’t bother clickin’ ‘cos it’s not rockin’

They’ve taken the vid down at u-toob, apparently “due to a copyright claim by Schurz Communications”.

It’s enough to give you the Schurzs

Let the Schurzes (there’s a lot of ‘em on the board) know that you are unhappy via http://www.schurz.com/sci_pages/about_us/

Yes, I’m afraid that Albertross is quite right. The video is no more. SP has left the building. Removed from YouTube on some spurious copyright grounds. It’d make you want to crack the Schurz. A shame, too, because the clip – even allowing for the ‘do’ and the trowel loads of TV make-up – almost showed her in a regular-kind-of-gal light. Who to turn to now for the dog-mushing results?
