Notice the SILENCE of all the Liberal and Labor Party 'rants' on this site in regard to the issue of gay and lesbian (and not forgetting our Transgender brother and sisters) equalities!!!!! Thanks to the Democrats , who have a proud history of supporting and advancing gay , lesbian and transgender rights. I have a personal hatred (I am open quite about this) of the Australian Labor Party and their capitulation to the Howard Government and their subservience to the dreaded Roman Catholic Church who continue to devalue all creatures other than heterosexual males! Thank you for commenting and advancing the rights of the most discriminated group of people in the history of mankind. I have personally and continually experienced such discrimination every day of my life!!!!! You were a wonderful Senator and it is great that you have a say still!!!!!
