Switzerland’s bare bottom of truth?

Switzerland will hold a referendum next week in which voters will be asked to decide whether foreigners who have been found guilty of murder, rape, drugs trafficking and other serious offences should be deported. The proposal comes from the conservative Swiss People’s Party (SVP) – the country’s largest. Last year the SVP backed a referendum banning the construction of new minarets on mosques in Switzerland.

The campaign controversy on that occasion was over the party’s advertising poster showing a group of white sheep kicking a black sheep off the Swiss flag. This time it is two contrasting images that are arousing passions.

The first is a rear view of four young women holding hands and standing in the shallows of Lake Zurich.

The second sh0ws a group wallowing in muddy water wearing scarves.

I never knew Switzerland was fond of nudism, but I can understand the desire to practice it freely and without recrimination.

But what does a group of elderly head-scarfed women stranded in floodwaters have to do with the issue of deporting violent criminals?

I thought Australian politicians were expert at dog whistling but this is something else.

    Does Switzerland have anti-vilification laws?

Nudism has nothing to do with this ad.
The point is, and rightly so, that if Switzerland continues to allow the gradual creep of Islam into its country, that in a few decades, the lower photo will be Lake Zurich. And the bathers will all be garbed, head to toe, for “modesty’s ” sake. And the ones determining what modesty is will be a bunch of bearded misogynists who believe daily hygene means smelling as bad as Mohammad did wwhile living in the desert with a bunch of camels and never bathing.
