They pulled the sound plug on Bruce Springsteen to end the second day of the Hard Rock Calling festival in London’s Hyde Park but not before a performance off Ghost of Tom Joad with Tom Morello.

The song was by way of a tribute to Woody Guthrie on the anniversary of his 100th birthday. Guthrie had written about Tom Joad, a fictional character from John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath.
