Paris in 26 Gigapixels

This is Paris 26 Gigapixels. It’s a glorious interactive high definition panorama of (almost) everyone’s favourite city. You can pan around and zoom in to many familiar landmarks.

More than 2,000 images requiring 26 Gigapixels were stitched together to create the Panorama.

Here’re the key details about the project. Here’s a description of how the panorama was put together.

It might take 30 seconds or so to fully load so be patient.

You can always go down to street level with Google Streetview and ‘walk’ around if you want.
