Trevor Cook on public relations, social media and politics

CSR Blog of the Year 2004

A great tour de horizon of the CSR blogs, and plenty of attitude from the tour leader, so well worth reading. But for the impatient, here’s the envelope:

Third Prize:
John Elkington. Mainly for photos of chainsaws and ducks. Entertaining and thought-provoking.

Second Prize:
Leadership for Sustainable Development. For the constant, high-volume, high-quality posts. Quite amazing, given that English is not Bill’s native language!

First Prize:
Steal This Brand. Tim Kitchin’s blog is excellent value for money. Worth printing out and reading on the bus. A worthy winner of the award. Don’t know what the prize is. I’m looking about the room, and the only thing I can think of is an REO Speedwagon CD I won in a raffle. Either that or a Buckingham Palace paperweight.

And finally, The "Cool! I hadn’t thought of that!" Award:
WorldChanging. For obvious reasons if you read it. And you should.
