Well done Louise Petschler, ABACUS Australian Mutuals

Petschler (CEO ABACUS) was on ABC radio in Sydney (warning it’s an incredibly ugly site) between 8.30 am and 9.00 am this morning and put in a performance that is one of the best I’ve heard from a corporate spokesperson for awhile. Petschler was intelligent, knowledgeable, fair and free of tedious rhetoric or inane messages. She started off the interview by correcting a misconception, stated by an earlier caller, about how the Rudd Government’s bank deposit guarantee will apply to some of her competitors. Someone who is willing, in the interests of accuracy, to correct some adverse misinformation about a competitor is someone you are going to pay attention to. Well worth listening to the interview if you get a chance.
