It’s late evening Thursday on the US east coast and the polls have been coming thick and fast today. Realclearpolitics has a list off 44 polls released on Thursday in the USA.
None of the polls represents any gains for McCain in battleground states. Overall, the poll situation seems to have stablised a little after several days of tightening.
Here’s some highlights:
- two polls in Arizona show McCain either 4 or 7 points ahead, surprisingly close
- fully eleven national polls, all of which have Obama in front from a low of 3 points in the Fox poll to a high of 13 in the NY Times / CBS poll. Take your pick I guess
- three polls in Pennsylvania, Obama up by 13, 12 and 4 points
