Morally, food is the new sex

We stress about food. We think obesity is not just a disease but a moral failing, killing animals for food is not only bad for us it is a major cause of global warming. But when it comes to sex we go out of our way not to be judgmental. Headline-seeking politicians are much more sanctimonious and self-righteous about food than about sex. That’s inversion of the way we thought about food and sex a generation ago. And it’s weird. Here’s a great article on the strange morality of food and sex.
