Everyone hopes their stuff will go viral, mostly it doesn’t, but when it did last year it often involved humour or animals or Sarah Palin. The story of a lion named Christian emerged in July and got 17 million hits, Salon magazine said it was one of their favourites:

According to a new survey by D S Simon, a video production company:

65% of online media sites now use video.

77% of online media sites project their use of video to increase over the next year.
