Come on, Mr Ramadge, James Campbell is talking to you!

Quick followup to our coverage yesterday about

Pure Poison IconQuick followup to our coverage yesterday about Herald Sun reporter James Campbell missing the real story on the ALP’s disturbingly detailed database on ordinary citizens, exposed instead by The Age.

Mr Campbell – who was the same day also behind this foul and misleading character assassination of another private citizen based on potentially unlawful access by whoever his source was to the police database – is tweeting angrily about The Age ignoring his little smear, sounding uncannily like some low-level blogger whose target won’t play with them:

MR RAMADGE! PAY ATTENTION TO ME! DOWN HERE! ME! OR I’LL STUPIDLY SUGGEST YOU’RE ALL CRIMINALS AGAIN!

It’s not quite the dignified next move I was expecting from Mr Campbell.

ABC News Radio are reporting this today as “hacking” to gain “private” personal details.

    Their ABC.

    Whatever Rupert wants, Rupert gets.

I don’t know, editors at Fairfax are so passive!

It seems like only a few months ago that when someone tweeted something about an editor, all hell broke loose. Lawyers were engaged and threats delivered.
I must be thinking of another news organisation…

It is quite the dignified response I expected.
