[…] back to Barry. I think my esteemed colleague First Dog on the Moon said it (drew it?) best with his interpretation of how Barry Hall was treated — like a chip being attacked by […]

OK FD – we get it. You don’t like Milne, you don’t like Riewoldt – you just don’t like the Saints. But I do. So lay off. It’s getting boring.

Barry is a thug. I know he gets targeted, and he cops a lot of crap, but he was ditched from the Swans for his temper. It’s ugly football. He can muscle around and kick goals, but it is ugly. Punches, headlocks etc – it just doesn’t look good.

Why not work with Baz to improve the temperament rather than whining about how it’s just not fair and everyone else gets it easy. He seems to work hard to make himself a target, not that that excuses Scott’s or anyone else’s behaviour.

PS – a good win the dogs regardless, and a great second half by the Saints. Also thanks for Farren Ray. He’s is coming along very well for us. I’m glad we did not sell him to the Chinese as you proposed a while ago.

Interesting things about this Bulldogs game —
    – Firstdog’s cartoon
    – Bruce Akermanis invoking Rule No. 1
    – Barry’s trip to the naughty chair
Uninteresting things about this Bulldogs game —
    – The football

Can you feature the Elephant Walk in a future cartoon?

You are one good lip-reader. I’d always wondered what umpires talked about.

    “Gingham Apron” Riewoldt. Perfect.

  7. Firstdog

It’s ok – It got fined $4000 for wrestling and went home. The seagulls however were so ashamed they never played football again.

What happened to the chip? I hope he wasn’t harmed in the making of this cartoon.
