Last nights ratings were of significant interest to folks. For some, they were curious to see how Two & A Half Men would rate as it was the first episode back without Charlie Sheen. Others were curious to see how Joy of Sets would rate (for fear of its ratings-fuelled demise).

What a massive night for TV viewership. Over 2.2 million viewers for Two & A Half Men is pretty massive, Especially against Packed To The Rafters who had a very respectable 1.6 million viewers themselves. Joy of Sets had a drop-off of over a million (I don’t have the ratings breakdowns by each 15 mins, but I’d suspect Rafters saw a significant upswing at 9pm). Sets did peak at 2.33 million viewers. Regardless, over 1.1 million viewers tuning in for Joy of Sets is pretty impressive. It bodes well for the show and while there will be a drop-off next week, I’m not sure anyone should get too concerned.

Also, interestingly, checking in at #14:

14 Total Ppl Network 9 CHARLIE SHEEN ROAST 810,000 259,000 253,000 148,000 73,000 77,000

There was a lot of criticism of the show last night on Twitter. Lots of people who were clearly not used to the sort of material delivered on roasts. I’d imagine the Nine switchboard likely had a few interesting calls placed.
